Digital Health Integration Readiness Platform (Pre-HaTCH)
The Digital Health Integration Readiness Platform (Pre-HaTCH) is a joint initiative between Health Cities and Brightsquid. The program has been developed to provide SMEs with the training and education required to address challenges related to privacy, security, regulatory, and integration activities. This program aims to address existing gaps and provides SMEs with the fundamental understanding of technical readiness, preparing them with the ability to tackle the complex integration requirements that are critical to success. SMEs that complete the program can expect to learn the following: Help early-stage companies understand the health information regulatory requirements for their product to commercialize Provide basic knowledge for software development practices to incorporate privacy and security principles to be successful in the health sector Provide a clear overview of Canada’s healthcare delivery and health tech ecosystems Provide resource options at the conclusion of the course to clarify the road to market and commercialization Through an extensive selection process, 11 companies were selected to participate in the platform.

Alberta Catalyzer Velocity 2023
Alberta Catalyzer is a merit based, pre-accelerator that provides company support, resources, and coaching to entrepreneurs to launch and grow their tech-enabled company, preparing them to advance to the scaleup and acceleration stages. It consists of three programs, Engage, Traction, and Velocity, that support startups at various stages of development. Launched in 2022, the pre-accelerator is developed and delivered by Platform Calgary and Edmonton Unlimited, with support from partners and organizations across the Alberta Innovation Network. Alberta Catalyzer is a part of Alberta Innovates’ Alberta Scaleup and Growth Accelerator Program for early-stage companies to scale, grow and propel Alberta’s digital transformation. Alberta Catalyzer is open to ALL founders launching and growing a tech-enabled business - which includes the development of a new solution, product or process that has the potential to improve or advance the industry with commercial viability.
